Today I am so excited to feature Michelle and Damon’s wedding that I photographed at The Chair Factory in Gainesville, GA. I recently started working with The Chair Factory to offer photography to their all-inclusive wedding package clients! That is how I originally met Michelle and Damon; at an event for the venue. They came up to my booth and after chatting with me for a bit, decided I was the right match for them!
They had already been married for over a year but then due to COVID, they had to push their large ceremony out to 2021. They decided to do an all-inclusive wedding with The Chair Factory and I am so happy I was able to be a part of it! Their day was so organized and flowed so well.
I started out the morning with the girls and when I showed up, everyone was in a great mood! I loved the bridesmaid’s blue silk pajamas and we had fun getting some shots of all the girls before they got their dresses on. After Michelle had a first look with her bridesmaids, she also did one with her dad. Then it was onto her first look with Damon!
Michelle and Damon had their first look outside of the venue and after lots of smiles and some tears, we went straight into their bridal portraits! One of the things I love about The Chair Factory is how photogenic all aspects of the venue are. We took photos outside with the building in the background, the white brick on the sidewall, and the green train car! Once their photos together were done we brought out their full bridal party and they were a blast to photograph. Their whole party looked so sleek and romantic with the men’s black tuxes and the women’s light blue dresses. I was obsessed with their whole color palette!
Their ceremony took place inside of the venue with a beautiful octagon arbor draped and decorated with florals as the centerpiece. Again, this venue is so photogenic! The brick wall and black shutters look amazing behind the bride and groom and make for a great first kiss photo. After the ceremony was over and we photographed family formal photos, it was time to party! They had a unique sweetheart table at the reception with large vintage wingback chairs. One of the super unique parts of their reception was that they had a caricature artist drawing portraits of guests! They ended the night in one of my favorite ways; with a sparkler exit! It was a beautiful day and I’m so happy I was able to capture it for them. Congratulations Michelle and Damon!
