This intimate, Roswell VG Bistro Wedding was an absolute dream to photograph. Last year, Jennifer and Ryan reached out to me while planning their spring wedding in Roswell, GA. These two planned to tie the knot in the most darling, little bistro and to say I loved their plan is an understatement. Their entire day was filled with sweet, meaningful moments and details.
Sunday | Wedding Day
Jennifer and Ryan’s big day was perfect from the very beginning. It was a gorgeous Sunday morning and they had the entire place to themselves! Of course we started out the day with details. Then, we captured getting ready shots, gift exchanges, and an incredibly sweet first look with Jennifer and her father. The couple chose not to do a first look and waited until they could lock eyes at the altar, so they could soak in the special moments of their wedding day.
Jennifer and Ryan said “I Do” under a beautiful arbor of flowers in the Roswell VG Bistro. They incorporated many traditional, religious aspects into the ceremony, which was so special to witness and capture for them! After their morning ceremony, they celebrated with their closest family and friends. There was a beautiful plated meal, cake cutting, and an exit to remember surrounding the new Mr. and Mrs. in flower petals!
But wait, there’s more.
One of my favorite moments of the day was some of the portraits we captured after the celebration. Jennifer, Ryan, and their furry best friend captured memories all around the bistro. Afterwards, we loaded up and headed to downtown Atlanta for some special portraits. Jennifer envisioned beautiful backgrounds that really complimented their wedding theme, which we absolutely got at this park. The stunning staircase, the flowers, the walkways, and the gardens all created a perfect backdrop. We truly were able to get so many amazing portraits of the two of them here and it was the perfect way to finish their wedding celebration!
Above all, I love that Jennifer and Ryan had the wedding day that they dreamed of. It’s so important to keep your partner and yourself at the center of your wedding day. If a traditional wedding with an intimate ceremony is your thing, go for it! If you want a large wedding with a crazy reception, do it! I have photographed all types of weddings and I can tell you that the best ones are when you have the wedding day that you have always envisioned.
