Today I am beyond excited to feature this gorgeous mountain wedding at a ranch in Georgia! Emma and Ross chose their dream venue which had an absolutely stunning view of the North Georgia Mountains. It was the perfect backdrop to their wedding day! I photographed Emma and Ross’s engagement session at Meadowlark 1939 and so I had already had them in front of my camera. I love doing engagement sessions with couples before their wedding because not only do we get to meet each other in person, but we get a feel for what it’s like working together during photos! Emma and Ross had amazing chemistry so I couldn’t wait for their wedding day.
Emma and I actually met through her mom who is also a photographer. Once Emma and Ross were engaged her mom had reached out to me and the rest is history! Emma and Ross chose Meadowlark 1939 for their engagement photos because they loved the venue and wanted to include it some way. However, they were looking for something a little different for their actual wedding day. I was able to really work with Emma and Ross and help them find their dream venue!

Mountain Wedding
Their wedding venue was at a ranch nestled at the base of the North Georgia Mountains. We couldn’t have asked for a better day. The greenery and landscape just shone through in all of their photos!
Emma and Ross chose a beautiful color palette of blues, greenery, and white. I had so much fun capturing their detail photos! Especially Emma’s custom bridal Nike Airforce 1’s! Emma chose to do a first look with her brother and dad before she saw Ross. These moments always get the best of me! No matter how many times I photograph these first looks, they always end up being so special.
Then Emma and Ross had their own private first look where they also shared their written vows. For any couples who want to write personal vows but don’t want to share them in front of everyone, a first look is the perfect time to share that sentimental moment!
Then it was time for the ceremony! Emma chose floral arrangements for their arbor that complimented everything beautifully. After they said “I do!” they had their walk down the aisle as husband and wife while flower petals were tossed on them!
Their reception was an absolute blast! They had a crowd of guests who were ready to boogie, which is always the best! Emma and her bridesmaids snuck outside for some fun photos frolicing with the mountains behind them. They ended their evening with a bubble farewell and the photos were so beautiful and timeless, just like their wedding day!
