I’m back this week with another beautiful engagement session that I’m so excited to show off to you all! Kaytlin and Bailey booked me shortly after meeting me at a bridal event in Lagrange, Georgia. Their wedding is in the spring of 2024 and we thought that finding a location in Lagrange would be perfect for their engagement session.

We chose Hills & Dales Estate as their session spot and we couldn’t have chosen a more perfect location! The historic gardens and buildings made for the best backdrop to their photos. To take professional photos at the Estate, you are required to have a special permit that does have a fee. You can do sessions during business hours or book a private session after business hours! If doing a session at Hills & Dales is something you’re considering, contact me. I’m happy to work through the photo permit process with you!

On the morning of Kaytlin and Bailey’s session, it was hot out but we had some great cloud coverage, which is always a win. Kaytlin chose to wear a light blue sundress with the cutest colorful heels and Bailey was coordinating in navy pants a red button down. The colors they chose were nice and light and matched the feel of the location they picked!

The Gardens

We had so much fun going around to the different areas of the Estate for their photos. I love that there are the historic buildings and gardens but also some spots with just trees or greenery so you have a mixture of options to choose from.

Of course we had to go into the greenhouse and those were some of my favorite images from the whole session! It just gets my creative juices flowing to get to photograph couples in new locations with fun areas we can explore together.

For the second half of their session, Kaytlin changed into a light yellow blouse, light blue jeans, and blue wedges. Bailey was in a light blue polo and darker blue jeans. Again, they had their outfit coordination down great! Their color choices complimented each other and show that you don’t have to be matchy matchy. I loved that they even had different washes of jeans!

To end the session we made our way to a few new spots in the gardens and took full advantage of all the spots that this beautiful Estate offers. I always love getting to photograph my couples before the day of their wedding, and these two were no exception. I can’t wait for spring 2024!
